Look at me. Do I deserve to be happy or to smile? Is there a chance of us just being a child and enjoying our lives? We do not control our circumstances or our illnesses. We deserve a chance in life, happiness in our lives and joy in our eyes.

Toys from an Angel Foundation, Inc. was founded on November 7, 2002, the day our daughter Briana J. Aguilar was called to heaven. Since then, this organization has strived to make children happy at Salvation Army shelters and at hospitals where children are recovering from surgery or a medical condition. Our mission is to provide gift boxes to children that are displaced from their homes, hospitalized or residing at local shelters.

Today’s children are our future, and we must all take part and provide a change in their lives. For these children, a small gift box filled with crayons, coloring books and activities to keep them busy during their hospitalization or while at shelters might provide them the happiness they deserve, the smile in their face, and the joy in their eyes.
